Casting Process Engineer
My client is a leading international manufacturer of specialist superalloys and high precision alloy components made for the most demanding conditions. We are embarking on a new chapter of our history; we need you to help us on our new journey to transform and continue turning metals into motion!
This role is an extremely specialist role whereby the main purpose of the role is to optimize and advance the casting capabilities of global sites, with a strong focus on the melting aspects of investment casting.
This role is a multisite role that requires you to work alongside all sites with the shared goal of increasing productivity in the casting process and ensuring overall reduction of scrap and rework caused by the casting processes.
Day to data tasks will include:
- Responsible for researching and implementing top tier casting techniques.
- Assessing the current state of the process controls and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Developing a comprehensive process control plan with measurable results in process capability.
- Participating in the change control boards for part specific and generic process changes, ensuring technical viability, use of best practices and conformance to set standards.
- Liaising with suppliers and IT resources to achieve increased visibility to process data through effective data acquisition systems designed to drive product quality, increased analytical capabilities and machine performance.
**Pay Details:** $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
