Job Description :

A Process Cost Engineer – Team Coordinator job in Sunbury, OH is available courtesy of Akkodis. We are searching for a Degreed Engineer that enjoys mathematics and the business side. You will be involved in quoting in relation to processing costs; working with Process Engineers and coordinating them (not managing). This position will be working on change points within a new model design. The Process Cost Engineer will make suggestions and recommendations on where to invest in the production lines.

Pay: $35 - $55/hour

Process Cost Engineer – Team Coordinator job responsibilities are:

  • Focus on process cost development for supporting quotes on new business
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering leads within each of the core manufacturing areas
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all the manufacturing areas within the plant & the technological capabilities within each area
  • Facility meeting cadence with the process team
  • Work closely with the PE management team and other depts such as procurement, sales, and the new model team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Medium to strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to comprehend manufacturing process and metrics is crucial
  • Good time management skills
  • Present to executive management teams via PowerPoint
