The Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Process Documentation Specialist I at Altek Electronics are described below: Includes the following, other duties may be assigned: • Read and interpret bills of material and customer assembly drawings • Create process flows with appropriate documentation • Validate manufacturer part numbers • Determine torque specifications • Supports manufacturing in the resolution of quality issues • Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements. • Define and incorporates process changes in Altek documentation • Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/procedures • Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures. • Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S Knowledge and Skill Requirements • Strong written and communication skills • Ability to quickly learn and use new software • Ability to read & understand assembly documentation, test procedures, and inspection criteria • Ability to work in a supervised team environment Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or GED • 0-3 years of manufacturing experience • Electronic or test related experience a plus • IPC 610, 620, or J-STD certification a plus Working Conditions Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
