Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description

Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures. Assemble reports to document process status and changes. Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades. Communicate findings andproposals to upper management. Utilize process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies. Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes. Conduct risk assessments. Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. Contribute to department efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Must be a Mechanical Engineering Degree (Experience with Electronic Chips could override)

+ Excellent analytical and math skills

+ Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems

+ Proficient with computer and information technology

+ Knowledge of process engineering software systems

+ Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to persuade others to change existing practices

+ Strong attention to detail

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Olathe, Kansas.

Work Environment

The Process Engineer oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
