Process Engineer - Southern Recruiting Solutions : Job Details

Responsibilities

• The Process Engineer will participate in/lead incident investigations to improve plant safety, eliminate environmental releases and operability.
• Work on process improvements or capital improvements that will increase production, reduce energy usage, optimize unit economics, reduce operating costs, and reduce by-products/off-spec production.
• Relocation provided.

Requirements

• The Process Engineer will have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Proven analytical thinker with conceptual understanding and ability of applying experiences and knowledge to identify best solutions
• Experience with piping and pump systems.
• Thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, process controls and fluid flow phenomena.
• Knowledge of PSM.
• Experience with polymers a strong plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
