Location: 5-days/week on-site in Columbia, SC

Description:

Insight Global's client is looking for a Process Engineer to oversee the process performance for Polymerization efforts taking place at Plant 8S in Columbia, SC. They will monitor KPIs, design process improvements, and oversee implementation projects alongside their team to effectively reach goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Reliability. Help ensure that the plant Polymerization department follows all safety rules and regulations. Work to minimize safety and environmental incidents in the department by auditing, capturing procedures/best practices, and maintaining a team culture of prioritizing safety. Responsible for managing Six Sigma projects for the Department. Work with Corporate Engineering on capital projects.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering
• 2+ years of experience working as a Process Engineer
• Experience with Six Sigma practices

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working in a Polymer plant
• MS degree in Engineering
