Summary: Responsible for creating, documenting, developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency in overall processes. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of logistics and supply chain solutions for new and existing customers.
- Work as a member of the Operating/Logistics Solutions team to develop solutions and opportunities to generate new business opportunities as well as to increase value opportunities.
- Design and process mapping; including material and information flows, which are defined and documented.
- Identify value to the customer and/or contract.
- Analyze existing and new business processes.
- Define business requirements and document comparison of current system capabilities to business requirements.
- Assume a project management role and support projects through concept to implementation.
- Provide training of processes to operators, LS team members and other staff as required.
- Visit customer sites to gather information and assist in operational implementations.
Requirements:
- Ability to read technical/trade journals, abstracts, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to prepare articles, abstracts, journals, editorials, manuals and critiques.
- Ability to prepare and make comprehensive preparations, participate in formal debate, communicate extemporaneously and professionally communicate before an audience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Developed skills in process re-engineering/mapping, supply chain concepts, information technology and business development.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.

- High degree of logic, initiative, self-organization and creativeness.
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or equivalent experience in Logistics.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
