Come join our growing and exciting company. We are searching for a Process Engineer to round out our FSQ and Operations departments. Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn new technologies and seek out ways to make our manufacturing process as efficient as possible while also maintain internal and regulatory requirement for safety and quality. We are looking for someone that can drive strategies and make smart data-driven tactical decisions in real time.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to further optimize current manufacturing processes with a large focus on food safety and quality
• Implement lean manufacturing/ continuous improvement principles like statistical process control, capability/ overuse studies, 5-why, and Kaizen
• Collaborate with other departments like operations, engineering, and finance to achieve key performance indicators.
• Create and implement trainings on process improvements
• Assist with root cause analysis and ensure clear communications to operations team
• Evaluate quality concerns and take corrective actions

Qualifications:

• College degree in food science, engineering, statistics, data analysis, or another similar field
• Strong data analysis skills with understanding of basic statistical principles
• Working knowledge of foundational food safety systems like HACCP and FSMA
• Experience with statistical analysis programs like Minitab
• Foundational knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Exceptional verbal, written, computer, and organizational skills
• Review and approve specifications as needed

This role will be working in a manufacturing facility, lab, and office. This is a full, in-office role, and cannot be hybrid or remote.
