Our client, a leader in the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Okmulgee, Oklahoma

What's the Job?

  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance throughput, efficiency, cost savings, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Plant Operations, and Innovation to contribute to developing and advancing processes for the new plant.
  • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and maintaining process engineering documentation, including mass and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and process descriptions.
  • Support the validation of third-party calculations for equipment specification to ensure process safety.
  • Participate in the start-up of new systems and assist in training operating personnel.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field and 1-3 years of experience or internship in process engineering or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of PSM/HAZOP studies.
  • Knowledge of unit operations, process design, mass and energy balance, and process data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Autocad, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of process optimization and engineering principles.
