Adecco has partnered with a manufacturing leader in the Angola, IN area to recruit a skilled Process Engineer II!

Position Overview:

As a Process Engineer II, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations run efficiently while supporting growth and innovation. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strategic planning to improve processes and support new product development in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and manage routers, bills of materials, and inspection instruction sheets to support production.
  • Use statistical process control (SPC) methods to lead and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate as part of the material review board to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Design and optimize inspection and gauging methods while evaluating inspection frequencies.
  • Support medical device development, including product design reviews and pre-production assessments.
  • Manage the manufacturing aspects of new product releases (NPRs) and execute validation protocols.
  • Work on corrective and preventive actions to address customer complaints and improve product quality.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. (Mechanical, Industrial, Bio/Med - NOT Chemical)
  • 3 plus years of experience in an engineering role
  • Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related software.
  • Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with statistical tools like control charts and capability analysis.
  • Knowledge of quality management system standards.
  • Experience with risk management tools, such as failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Background in CNC machining processes or the medical device industry.
  • Basic understanding of validation, PPAP, or APQP.
