The Process Engineer should be:

  • A highly motivated and self-directed individual with a proven track-record of working cross-functionally to design, plan, optimize, and run production processes.
  • Own a specific process from start to finish.
  • Accountability to coordinate and implement small projects and process improvements using the proper work protocol.
  • Has experience in production management, production planning, design engineering, and statistical process control methodology (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, etc.).

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management skills is a must.
  • People management experience is a must.
  • Experience in both batch and continuous production processes.
  • Experience in design engineering.
  • Experience in statistical process control methodology.
  • Excellent Organizational skills with capacity to handle both large and small projects.
  • Organize/analyze generated data and prepare recommendations based on project requirements.
  • Computer knowledge required including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, DCS Systems, PI Process Book etc.
  • Commitment to a strong safety culture. Must be able to handle hazardous chemicals and work in a hazardous chemical environment.
