SUMMARY: Clean and sanitize Single Pass trim line belt area, evap dryer area, LM packaging, LM dryer, puff area, dump room and atlas areas utilizing brooms, squeegees, shovels, buckets, tubs, chemicals, brushes, scrub pads, scrapers and other cleaning tools to maintain a clean and presentable plant and help ensure a high-quality product. To follow all applicable safety rules, regulations and policies such as Hazardous Communication and Chemical Safety standards while maintaining the health and safety of oneself and others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks. Utilize cleaning tools, sweep and squeegee debris from floor, operate waste room dumper safely, properly store tools and equipment. Communicate effectively, receive instructions from supervisors, assist coworkers as needed, complete daily line sanitation sign-off. Perform sanitation, record weight of waste bins, relieve other line employees for breaks and lunches. Perform downtime clean up procedures, operate equipment as needed, physical scrubbing/cleaning, assist in reassembling equipment. Utilize sanitation chemicals safely and efficiently, adhere to chemical manufacturer instructions, wear required personal protective equipment, maintain chemical storage area. General housekeeping and sanitation during production, adhere to GMPs, follow color code standards. Follow proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, HAZCOM, chemical safety, wear required personal protective equipment, report unsafe conditions/acts to a supervisor, follow all safety rules and regulations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, reach, feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk, hear, taste or smell. Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for paperwork, driving and reading specifications, distance vision to drive the forklift, color vision to check product color and identify packaging color differences, peripheral vision for driving the forklift and to watch for pedestrians, depth perception for driving the forklift and stacking pallets, and the ability to adjust focus for driving the forklift and identifying the product. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
