Job Title:Process Optimization Summer Intern 2025 - Product Stewardship
Summary:In this role, you will engage in a short-term assignment with limited supervision. Among various responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to assist with projects related to digitization, automation, and streamlining of product stewardship business processes associated with regulatory data and records. You will experience opportunities to virtually engage with our global product stewardship team and you will also experience a variety of hands-on opportunities through direct interaction with other internal departments. This position will last approximately three months.
Responsibilities Include:- The role of Product Stewardship is to combine product and regulatory expertise to support business growth and ensure that Momentive products are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Our Team is focused on improving the business processes we utilize to accomplish our role of ensuring compliance and supporting business growth. There are several projects identified to automate, digitize, and streamline our business processes. They include but are not limited to:
- Development and enhancements of Product Stewardship informational dashboards through Power BI or other platforms, for communication of data and information to Momentive business segments.
- Enhancement of Product Stewardship data governance through migration of regulatory documents that are metadata tagged for searchability and globally accessible.
- Develop workflows through a power platform or other collaboration software to automate business processes that are currently conducted through email.
Qualifications:The following are required for the role- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and strong work history.
- Current enrollment in a Baccalaureate program in mathematics, engineering, or science (Chemistry, Physics) discipline.
Preferred Requirements- Experience with project management tools and/or application of process improvement tools
- Experience with Power Platform tools, Sharepoint, and/or MS Teams applications
Program Requirements- The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
- The candidate is expected to be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.

May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move a light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information. Light lifting is required. The environment for this position is an office setting. Master's rate: $32/hr; PhD rate: $37/hr
What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
