Job Description :
Job Title: Process & Policy Improvement and Management (Subject Matter Expert)Job Duties: • Coordinate with Program office key leaders and stakeholders to understand current/future process & policy requirements • Observe program office operations, document business processes, including mapping to DoD and/or Agency policy and guidance, and validate policies and processes adhere to program office implementation plans • Develop and maintain policies & procedures in accordance with DoD/MDA standards and governing documents • Identify root causes and blockers to process execution and recommend changes to policy, process, and procedures to eliminate bottlenecks • Develop and champion change initiatives from conception to adoption by developing and presenting briefing packages, courses of actions, and impact assessments • Support standardization of products, processes, policies and procedures in cross-functional workspaces by representing Business Financial Manager in working groups and integrated product teams related to program office modernization • Serve as process and policy subject matter expert in system design reviews to validate design documents meet established business rules • Write new employee orientation manual and onboarding procedures • Create and execute training program of products, processes, policies and procedures for all new employees • Execute and recommend changes to Manager's Internal Controls Program to improve program operations and risk posture Requirements: • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or Business Analytics and 18 years experience (Master's Degree or higher with 17 years experience) • Experience: 15 years or greater in Process & Policy Improvement and Management experience; developing, writing, and conducting training; and fiscal/financial policy analysis • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Exceptionally strong analytical skills and be detail oriented • Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance Desired Requirements: • Strong knowledge of MS Office with demonstrated experience in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and queries • Knowledge of planning, formulating and applying DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions • Must Work independently and conduct strategic high-level coordination activities • Must be a self-starter able to support multiple complex projects simultaneously Vali Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
