Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer specializing in Fluid Design to join our engineering team. This role requires expertise in fluid dynamics, mechanical design, and the development of efficient fluid systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulic systems, and simulation tools to design, analyze, and optimize fluid-related components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fluid System Design: Design and develop fluid systems, pipelines, and associated components for various applications, ensuring system functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate fluid design projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform detailed fluid flow analysis using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or other simulation tools. Conduct stress, pressure, and thermal analysis of fluid systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure seamless integration of fluid designs within larger systems and projects.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing phases for fluid systems to validate design concepts, optimize performance, and troubleshoot any design issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documents, including design drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Cost & Budget Management: Assist in developing project budgets, estimating costs for fluid system design, and ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all fluid systems are designed with the highest level of quality and adhere to company standards and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in fluid design to contribute to the continuous improvement of designs and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in fluid design and engineering, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., energy, water treatment, HVAC].
  • Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, hydraulic systems, and related engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in fluid simulation and analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, Fluent, SolidWorks Flow Simulation).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fluid systems.
