Process Safety Advisor - Albemarle Corporation : Job Details

Albemarle is hiring for a Process Safety Advisor. This position is located in Magnolia, Arkansas and supports both our West and South Plant operations. What You Will Do. Perform Process Hazards Analyses for all PSM-covered processes. Drive operational improvements in safety, including LOPA, critical instrumentation, interlock verification, and MOC training and review. Follow up on closure of findings from PHA's, incidents, etc. Support capital projects with their PHA and LOPA needs, as well as participate in PSS - Rs for new projects and improvements. Participate in incident investigations and reviews, including validating release and impact amounts and Root Cause Analysis of significant incidents. Provide training for new engineers in both systems and methodology of technical safety systems. What You Bring. Required:Engineering Degree (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) required.
