Job Summary:Leads and supervises the shift. Sets and adjusts machine controls according to established process standards. Ensures efficiency levels and cycle times are sustained throughout the production run. Ensures product conformity & quality standards are upheld.Key Accountabilities:

- 5S and Safety (6S).
- Direct labor efficiencies (Resin consumed V. direct labor costs).
- Inventory accuracy
- Worker compliance
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately records team members in ADP, assembly, or injection. Ensures team member time reports are accurate.
- Conducts production meeting with scheduler and key personnel.
- Authorizes full production once setup is complete and first piece approvals are validated.
- Records all process parameter changes on the process change log.
- Reviews set-up sheet & process parameters, using the process monitoring log to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Manage IQMS downtime coding, end-of-shift reporting, cycle counts, scrap data entry, and resolving disposition errors.
- Monitor IQMS in real-time maintaining proper cycle times and responding quickly to presses going down.
- Enforce worker compliance with all work instructions, work orders, TWIs, quality inspections, procedures, employee handbook, molding shutdown and startup checklist, process discipline, and time and attendance policy.
- Assists in preventative maintenance and or repair on machines, injection molding screw assemblies, molds, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Completes mold verification, mold changes, and material changes.
- Diagnose and correct problems, and perform process troubleshooting on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitors quality attribute charts, ensuring defects remain below the upper control limit.
- Completes reporting requirements to include, mold repair, equipment repair, damage, accident and injury, and production.
- Conducts shift change meetings to include end-of-shift reports for production status of mold, machine, man, method, and maintenance.
- Complies with three-point control, reporting changes, abnormal conditions, and worker compliance.
- Ensure shift personnel are safe, adhere to PPE requirements, follow safety policies, and safely complete assigned tasks.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads and supervises the injection molding machine operators and assigned personnel.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic skills with computers including Microsoft Outlook, word, and Teams.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with little or no guidance.
- Provide shift personnel with a safe and friendly work environment.

Education and Experience:
- Good knowledge of all aspects of the injection molding process including processing, tooling, maintenance, and material.
- Three years of experience in injection molding processing.
