Lumos is looking for a full-time Process Training Specialist - Business Insight & Analytics! Essential Functions

  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with employees.
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and process training for employees
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill specific needs related to process and change initiatives.
  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Develops and presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Collaborates with department leaders to identify, assess and monitor training needs or training gaps across business functions.
  • Organizes training and education events through various channels including in person or virtual.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with process improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Working experience using learning technologies, methods, and systems.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and skills.
  • Solid MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel).

Other Experience & Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in training and development.
  • Understanding of key business operations within telecommunications highly desirable.
  • Working experience managing multiple vendors and stakeholders.
  • Use of project management methodologies to deploy learning programs a plus.
  • Proficiency with various tools including PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and relevant Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
