Job SummaryThe Processing Packaging Associate will work with the Processing Team on a variety of projects and tasks but will mainly be focused on Packaging. Associates should be prepared to come to work with a great attitude and be ready to be on their feet working in a variety of different environments. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for meeting production demands and quality expectations.Duties include, but are not limited to manufacturing products, preparing product batches for data entry in METRC (the State's inventory tracking system), performing final counts on all product transfers.Communicate with Team Leads and assist in other areas when not performing daily tasks.Maintain personal cleanliness in the Processing area (In compliance with GMP).Follow equipment, chemicals and other safety protocols as required by the Company.Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data, as needed.Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Processing, Assistant Director of Processing, or their designees. QualificationsHigh School DiplomaGood math skillsDetail orientedExcellent counting skillsGood to excellent manual dexterityAbility to work without supervision Meet the cleanliness standard required by law and Company policy for products and packaging Understand compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas Ability to work with labeling equipmentAbility to work with heat sealing equipmentAbility to work with capsule and bottle filling equipmentAbility to use basic hand tools to set up and maintain standard packaging equipmentAbility to use a laboratory balance to weigh or count productAbility to use a calculatorAt least 21 years of ageWilling to participate in an extensive background checkEffective time management skills. Detail oriented, highly organized, and motivated by accomplishment.Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with all levels of management.Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of programs and projects.Advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). The ability to complete fine motor functions.The ability to work in low light situations.Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.This is a full-time position with variable hours required. Our facility is open from 6 am to 8 pm seven days a week. Candidates with weekend availability is required.
