Job Description/Responsibilities The Processing Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient batching/filtration of liquid products, loading/unloading of bulk liquids, and documentation of these activities according to the standards set by Federal, State, Local Agencies, and company policies. This position has a starting salary of $28.97 per hour and is part of a collectively bargained unit. Specific duties include safely operating and maintaining machinery and equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking and climbing stairs, accurately maintaining required paperwork, and cleaning equipment and work area. Work environment may not be climate controlled. Qualifications/RequirementsRequired Qualification for the Position
  • Minimum education level of High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven stable, safe work history with excellent attendance record
  • Must have the ability to solve complex math problems including fractions, ratios, percentages, and volume measurements
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Preferred Qualification for the Position
  • Undergraduate degree and/or at least 2 years experience in a fast-paced production environment utilizing batching/filtration
  • Proficient with computer systems including MS Office products
  • Working knowledge of processing equipment
  • Proven record of safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing best practices
  • Experience using manufacturing software
