Processing Specialist - Judge Direct Placement : Job Details

The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Processing Specialist with food manufacturing experience in the Bourbonnais, IL area.

COMPENSATION: 65k to 80k

LOCATION: This is an onsite position (Not hybrid or Remote) in the Bourbonnais, IL area

RELOCATION: Local only (A small relo stipend for local relocation candidates)

MUST HAVE: Bachelors in some sort of food safety or equivalent work experience

MUST HAVE: 5+ years in food manufacturing

MUST HAVE: Experience working with Nutrition Labeling Enforcement Act (NLEA)

MUST BE: A US Citizen or a Green Card holder

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate with all levels of manufacturing including R&D, Quality and Food Safety, etc

- Communicate with clients, review supplier information and investigate conformances issues

- Update SOPs

- Review of safety records and ensure compliance

- Review formulas and processing procedures

- Develop mixing instructions

- Conduct audits

- Oversee production roll outs for new products

- Ensures that the checklist for new product development is completed

- Creates nutrition label and ingredient statements (Ensure Nutrition Labeling Enforcement Act (NLEA)

- Maintains an orderly record of documents

- Conduct HACCP analysis

- Evaluate raw materials for recipe compliance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors in some sort of food safety or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years in food manufacturing

- Strong statistical and trend data analysis skills
