Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Analyst with a strong background in the construction industry and government. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in procurement processes, compliance, and vendor management to optimize operations and ensure cost-effective acquisitions. Certifications such as CPPB, CPPO, or CPSM are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction-related goods and services, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities and quality improvements.
  • Prepare, issue, and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Invitations to Bid (ITBs) in compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and compliance officers, to streamline procurement workflows.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in the construction or government sector.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices, including familiarity with government contracting processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, or similar platforms).
