Job Description :

As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic Procurement and Inventory Assistant and be part of our team in Haverhill, MA.

*This is a part time position from Monday to Friday. *

Purpose: Responsible for raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.

Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.

Job qualifications and experience requirements:

  • High school degree, associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
  • Proven experience as a procurement assistant or in a similar role is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 year's proven experience in similar role
  • Supply and inventory control management
  • Data entry skills and knowledge of databases and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Lifting up to 50 ponds

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tracking laboratory consumable consumption and maintaining stocks of supplies
  • Receiving and unpacking orders
  • Packaging and mailing laboratory samples
  • Organization of material, consumable, and equipment stocks
  • Collaborating with the company's procurement organization for quoting, purchasing, inventory management, and internal audits

Salary: USD 22.00-24.00 per hour.
