Procurement Coordinator - in office
We have an immediate need for a Procurement Coordinator in the Los Angeles County area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the regional procurement department. This position requires attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and the administration of tracking reports and analytics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to track and report key functional metrics from various systems with the knowledge and ability to improve existing reporting
Clear understanding of regional supplier currently used and assist with new supplier registration
Ensure valid data is current for existing suppliers while assisting with tracking their performance
Maintenance of existing supplier agreements tracking expirations of master agreements
Ability to work closely with the legal department while initiating contracts and agreements
Perform purchasing activities supporting the region
Maintain clear documentation for audits and procurement activities
Education and Experience
High School graduate or GED
Detailed oriented, well organized with strong analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to effective plan, organize, and prioritize
Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience using JD Edwards is a plus
