Procurement Lead

We're on the lookout for an experienced Procurement Lead to help us secure our products at the right prices while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is all about building relationships with suppliers and making sure our stock levels align with our needs – so we're always ready to meet demand without going overboard.

In this position, you'll also work with our sales and operations teams to make sure our purchasing aligns with overall business goals. You'll be the go-to person for supplier relationships, inventory planning, and keeping an eye on the market so we stay competitive.

Responsibilities:

• Crafting and executing smart buying strategies to keep us ahead.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, both locally and in the Far-East, to ensure we secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Overseeing inventory levels to ensure we're well-stocked to meet demand without carrying excess.
• Collaborating with teams across sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Recommending new supplier for current products and identifying suppliers for new products to add to our portfolio
• Staying current on market trends and industry updates to give us an edge.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years in procurement, ideally in B2B or distribution. Experience in the poly-packaging industry is a major plus
• Solid negotiation skills with both domestic and Far-East suppliers.
• Experience in managing inventory and forecasting demand.
• Analytical skills to assess pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Familiarity with procurement tools like NetSuite.
• Great communication and people skills to work across teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep everything organized.
• Competent with Excel, including pivot tables and v-look ups functions.

Note: This is an in-office position; The role can be based out of either of our two offices, in Brooklyn, NY or Lakewood, NJ.
