Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
[General Summary]
- Responsible for all Business-planning and HR & Administration activities of Procurement Division.
- Make new or improve operation standards for Parts Purchasing and Parts Development work with sojourning employees (Expatriates)
- Operate procedures of Human Resources/Labor/Education/General Affairs/IT system in Purchasing division
- Create an annual business plan in Procurement division and review the progress and achievement rate (KPI) against target goals
- Support Parts Development team and General Purchasing team
- Meet all other assignments as required
[Major Responsibilities]
- Make new and/or improve existing operation standards for Parts Purchasing tasks/workflow such as Supplier Selection process, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers Pool Registration/Management, and Parts Development tasks/workflow such as Parts Development, Parts Quality Assurance, Supplier Audits, and more.
- Improve and reinforce processes of Parts Purchasing and Development
- Create, operate and support tasks and procedures related to Human Resources/Labor/Education/General Affairs/IT aspects within Procurement Division.
- - HR/labor work such as recruitment, manpower management, organization, R&R, etc.
- - Training for new/experienced employees, office environment, OA devices, etc.
- - Arrange/Manage/Improve IT system requirements in Procurement division
- - Any other tasks related to operating the organization
- Support for Parts Development/General Purchasing/Global Trade team with activities such as discovering new local suppliers, visiting supplier plants, etc.
- Collect and analyze overall information and issues of suppliers
- Improve existing Purchasing procedures; continuously seek better methods of Purchasing.
- Establish and modify Purchasing plans; develop Purchasing strategies.
- Provide employees assistance in Purchasing as necessary.
[Reports to] Assistant Manager
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, Administration, or other related areas.
Training / Certification:
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation preferred.
Related Experience:
- Senior - Minimum 2 years of related job experience.
- Experience in Automotive Industry preferred.
Skills / Knowledge:
- MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills desired.
- A desire to continually improve processes and research and implement best practices.

- Intermediate - Minimum 2 years of related job experience

- Bilingual preferred – Ability to read, write, and speak any two combinations of English, Korean, and/or Spanish fluently.

Travel / Additional Information:
- Position may require occasional travel (Domestic/International travel)
- Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility
- Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift
