Job DescriptionPay Range: $22.00-$23.00/hrAt Tops, we pride ourselves with bringing our customers a wide variety of the freshest fruits and crispiest vegetables from fields and orchards near and far. If you love fruits vegetables and want to help our customers discover the best we have to offer, apply for a position in our Produce department!Produce Managers are responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the department. This includes:

• Providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Maintaining proper shelf/display conditions through cleaning, straightening, and rotating products
• Ensuring proper handling and storing of product
• Fulfilling weekly product orders while adhering to store policies in order to maintain adequate supply levels
• Achieving financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
• Ensuring proper operation of and temperatures in cooler, prep area, and cases
• Completing all necessary paperwork relating to the department
• Selection, training, development and scheduling of produce associates

Job RequirementsSuccessful Produce Manager candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous retail experience
• Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Night, weekend, and holiday availability
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Basic computer skills
