Job Purpose
Primarily producing complex and high-quality media content projects in challenging environments, including the Middle East.
Main Accountabilities
Responsibilities are to:
- Responsible for the production of various communications products, primarily video but also including assets for coordinated campaigns such as digital banners, websites, and more.
- Ensure the successful production/creation of compelling high-quality content that engages key defined audiences.
- Manage the production process to achieve high-quality results.
- Managing production budgets.
- Developing, and working to strict production timelines.
- Coordinate, liaise, and direct external production companies and freelancers to create engaging, relevant content on time and on budget.
- Work to a production director and content director ensuring strategic direction, creative input, and audience requirements are all followed to achieve success.
- Collaborate effectively with editors, designers, content managers, social media managers, accounts staff, and other team members.
- Initiate team processes to ensure the generation of innovative and creative ideas that successfully deliver against strategic and creative briefs.
- Be prepared to support the creative process by assisting from time to time with writing, editing, and reviewing creative content treatments and scripts based on a strategic brief.
- Work with the team to constantly maximise success, impact, and production values.
- Use your cultural insight of audiences, production experience, and subject matter knowledge to inform content at all stages, from brief and development to post-production.
- Manage and advise on all aspects of post-production including editing, graphics, and design, working closely with editors and designers.
- Work closely across the teams to review daily content, provide feedback on ideas, strategy, treatments, and scripts from a delivery perspective.
- Communication and liaison with team, sharing timings, content briefs, feedback.
- Adopting and managing smooth production commissioning and approval processes.
- Quality assurance of material as suitable for key audiences and within editorial guidelines and to industry production standards.
- Upholding brand values, particularly accuracy, trust, and integrity.
- Input into strategy and future planning of campaigns and content streams.
- Available to help answer team, management, or client queries.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all suppliers and team members.
- Support other aspects of the wider project as required.

Desirable Knowledge:
- Understanding of and interest in the past and present social and political situation in the MENA region.
- An instinctive understanding and appreciation of modern youth culture and cultural trends in the MENA region.
- Demonstrate passion for media and social media, demonstrating an understanding of trends, subjects, and production techniques likely to appeal to youth audiences.
Essential:
- Highly Organised.
- In-depth knowledge of production and its processes including significant experience delivering high-quality industry standard content.
- Deep understanding of the social media landscape and upcoming trends.
- Understanding of the geo-political situation in the MENA region.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and work flexibly and at pace.
- Ability to multitask and handle tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently, but also as a strong team player, with good personal communication skills.
- Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Desirable:
- Media and useful network of contacts in the MENA region an advantage.
2. Experience, Qualifications, and Core Skills

- Significant industry experience directly producing high-quality visual media for TV and social platforms.
- Experience operating with or demonstrating passion for youth culture/issues and social media.
