A leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions is looking to hire a Product Development Engineer in Elizabethtown, KY. The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and performance testing of power transmission belting used in industrial and mobility applications. Responsibilities include:

• Product BOM management
• Creation of lab orders for product testing
• Analyzing product test results
• Organizing and monitoring builds of test materials
• Benchmarking of products in industry
• Experimentation to enhance product design
• Forensic analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering (mechanical, chemical, materials science preferred)
• 5 years R&D engineering experience
• Product development experience

Preferred

• Experience with DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Design of Experiments, FMEA, SPC, and Weibull
• Experience with CAD
