Join our Risk Product team and play a vital role in advancing our service capabilities within the Group Life and DI Administration space. In this role, you will build the tools and experiences that empower advisors and help clients achieve their dreams. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Manager to help define and execute a service strategy aimed at transforming the servicing experience for our Home Office, Advisors, Clients, and Third-Party Administrators. You will work across a talented team of engineers, designers, business analysts, other product managers and business partners to discover, build, and launch features that enable clients to achieve financial security.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Set Product Vision: Co-create with a Senior Product Manager, the foundational vision of the product and define what it aims to solve. Position the product vision to key stakeholders across the organization. Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Business Expertise: Partner with business and product management teams to gain an understanding of the business area/domain. Continuously expand knowledge across the enterprise to ensure a holistic understanding of business needs.
Develop Roadmap: Responsible for ingesting new items on the roadmap per documented prioritization framework(s). Define and track KPIs to measure the success of roadmap initiatives.
Gather Requirements: Understand the problem state and unmet needs of the client. Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings to clarify key requirements, ensuring quality, value, and feature integrity. Review and validate requirements captured within the team.
Stakeholders: Articulate the product and feature stories to a broader audience. Strengthen relationships with business partners and knowledge share as needed.
Design Partnership: Partner with our Senior Product Manager and design to ensure cohesive future state user visions and experiences are aligned.
Author User Stories: Translate requirements to technical details to build and validate use cases and user stories around a product. Communicate effectively with technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
Feature Prioritization: Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation according to business value or Return on Investment (ROI).
Facilitate Ceremonies: Participate in and sometimes facilitate daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 Years of prior experience with at least 1 working in a Product Management role.
Knowledge Preferred: formal business analyst, engineering or testing experience, knowledge of the financial services industry, familiar with BI tools, previous research experience, familiar with Agile and Scrum framework.
Must have demonstrated some cross functional work in previous experience.
Strong communication skills, strong time management, project management skills, business acumen, and high self-awareness and EQ.
Proven experience translating product requirements into technical requirements and work through ambiguity.
Problem solves in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.

Pay Range - Start:
$82,670.00
Pay Range - End:
$153,530.00
