Product Manager Job Summary The Product Manager (Offshore Proxy Product Owner) will play a crucial role in our Agile Release Train (ART) by acting as a proxy for the Product Owner. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. Responsibilities: * Act as a proxy for the Product Owner in an offshore capacity, representing their interests and priorities. * Collaborate with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and development teams to define and prioritize the product backlog. * Ensure alignment of product vision, goals, and objectives with the overall business strategy. * Facilitate communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teams. * Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives. * Define and communicate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. * Monitor and track progress, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements. * Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to the development team. * Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies. * Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions. * Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Agile and SAFe methodologies. * Identify and document backlog of user stories, details within user stories, acceptance criteria and ensure they adequately cover the requirements. * Interact with business users and explain the user stories, acceptance criteria and get their sign off * Participate in functional discussions with COTS vendor(s) during sprints * Document reporting requirements * Ability to identify control set of data for testing purposes * Write test cases to cover all user stories and ensure they are tested and signed off * Coordinate with vendor(s) regarding user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases and get their sign off. * Test (Sprint level testing, SIT) the solutions provided/developed * Help business users document UAT test cases and during UAT. * Document issues and coordinate with the vendor or internal teams in finding an appropriate solution. * Test reports developed/configured against requirements, identify issues, if any, analyze the cause of such issues, raise relevant tickets with external vendor, participate in meetings with Vendor to resolve the issue, test the fix provided by Vendor. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an Agile environment. * Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles and practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. * Certification in SAFe or Agile methodologies is a plus. * Strong experience in agile methodology is an absolute must. * Solid experience in having developed user stories and acceptance criteria is essential. * In-depth experience in coming with up test plans, test strategies, test cases and control sets for testing purposes. * Ability to translate business requirements into technology specific actions * Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects * Knowledge of Bank loan products will be a significant plus * Excellent Oral and written communication skills * Ability to work closely and productively with cross cultural teams, spread across geographies and time zones. * Strong working knowledge of agile framework * CBAP certification will be a big plus. * Analytical thinking and problem solving * Well organized and ethical * Commercial lending domain cycle, concepts and processes with full life-cycle implementation experience using any of the off-the-shelf products or custom development * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate well with all levels, technical as well as non-technical stakeholders * Facilitation, Negotiation, Leadership and Influencing skills * Good working knowledge of Querying Language like SQL, advanced Excel skills * Must have worked on different types of requirements and has a very strong knowledge of how requirements are elicited, documented and elaborated. * Having worked on ADO will be a big plus. * Ability to work directly with clients and management independently and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus.
