17th December, 2024Our client in Buffalo, NY is looking for a Product Manager to join their team.This is a hybrid/full-time/permanent position.Salary based on experience: $105k-$125kCharacteristics of a Product Manager:In addition to the above, we are looking for a candidate who also uniquely fulfills the specific needs of our Product Manager role. We are recruiting a Product Manager to work under the direction and supervision of our Senior Product Manager, improving efficiency, increasing reliability, and enhancing productivity on our Tech Team. As a Product Manager, you will dive into the details and engage with internal and external stakeholders and partners. Product management skills as well as project management skills, the best fit for this role is someone who wants to be at the heart of a growing company. You will be accountable for driving internal user adoption, integrations, and performance metrics. Pathway and connected applications and be the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, driving the product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of the broader organizational goals.Primary Functions & Responsibilities:•Identify significant short and long-term opportunities for Pathway, driving the product vision, strategies, and roadmaps to meet the needs of the overall organizational goals.•Generate buy-in and drive consensus across the organization. Bring clarity and structure to all projects. Consistently demonstrate initiative and execution with limited oversight.•Plan, initiate, and manage projects for Pathway and adjacent applications and processes. This includes roadmap and timeline definition, feature epic management, story-writing, and leading regular Scrum processes.•Drive product development with a team of engineers and designers, internal stakeholders across multiple departments, external banking custodians, and product partners while maintaining team health.•Work closely with cross-functional team to drive Pathway's vision, define requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (treasury, legal, etc.), develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.•Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of Pathway. Identify and track key performance metrics through the use of tools like Google Analytics. Drive decision-making through user insights and quantitative analysis.•Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.•Conduct user experience research to identify critical feature sets, gaps, and improvements. Engage directly with user groups to understand user activity on Pathway, identify missing features and pain points, and overall identify UI/UX.•Recommend prioritization, and track progress of product enhancements. Drive consensus across key stakeholder groups for prioritization of specific features/updates, and gain approval from key stakeholders. Track and test features to ensure they provide desired user experience improvements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and ensure project deliverables meet business needsRequirements & Qualifications:•BA/BS in Computer Science or related field•3+ years in product management and/or Product Design•3+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams•Understanding of banking, specifically traditional and digital payments•Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution•Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills•Experience presenting to senior executive audiences•An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment•Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills•Able to understand technical details and translate them to non-technical audiences and vice-versa•Motivating the team to do high-quality work while maintaining positive relationships•Proactively identifying risks or problems, and putting plans in place to fix them•Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and juggle multiple tasks/projects/deadlines simultaneouslyApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.We are an equal-opportunity employer.
