Product Manager
Location: Hybrid in King of Prussia, PA
General Purpose:
Lead the execution of a multi-year initiative to consolidate and modernize the organization's order management and invoicing systems. Serve as the central management focal point for the program, bridging business operations, IT, and strategic partners at all phases of the initiative.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Experienced with at least one full cycle Salesforce implementation
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Management Office, sponsors, functional business areas, IT, and marketing teams to measure and ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Translate high-level strategic direction and business priorities from program sponsors into actionable plans.
- Facilitate the creation of product vision, goals, and minimum viable product (MVP) with input from stakeholders, securing approvals as needed.
- Maintain MVP scope, ensuring alignment with established processes and communication plans.
- Define and manage the product roadmap, outlining goals, strategy, dependencies, staffing, timelines, risks, contingency plans, and resource allocation.
- Prioritize features and capabilities in collaboration with Product Owners and IT, supporting sprint planning and technical updates.
- Identify and manage subject matter experts (SMEs) and end-user groups critical to the product's success.
- Develop and communicate business process impacts to ensure effective change management planning.
- Support IT Project Managers in translating roadmaps into prioritized builds.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), including script development, planning, and facilitation.
- Address data-related challenges and escalate as necessary.
- Lead issue resolution, risk mitigation, and communication plans, providing updates to relevant teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, training sessions, and communications to support project goals.
- Develop and manage business cutover plans, ensuring successful implementation and rollout.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics and milestones.
- Create and manage documentation and content to support program objectives.
- Conduct stakeholder focus groups to gather input and insights.
- Utilize project artifacts, tools, and templates to communicate progress and capture decisions.
- Apply industry best practices in project management and governance processes.
- Lead the launch of new products and features.
- Manage scope changes and their impact on budgets and schedules.
- Occasionally travel to company facilities to support program activities.
- Participate in key meetings, including updates, project coordination, steering committees, and PMO reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10-15 years of professional experience.
- 7+ years of digital product management experience, including leading programs from inception to launch using agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience managing complex, cross-organizational programs, including digital initiatives involving web portal development and application integrations.
- Proficiency in solution delivery, including requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and change control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical requirements to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience managing vendors to deliver project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of various business functions such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, Teams).
- History of adaptability, multi-tasking, and delivering results in a deadline-driven environment.
Employment Type: Contract
The salary range for this position is $60 to $65.
