Job Description :

Trion IAQ / Envirco, a Air Distribution Technologies Inc subsidiary is seeking a Product Manager that will be responsible and accountable for providing technical and business direction to the organization with respect to Trion and Envirco product families. You will represent the brands within the product business unit, and effectively represent the product business unit to outside groups.

The Product Manager is the primary interface between internal groups such as Engineering and Manufacturing, and external groups such as Sales and customers. You will be a recognized expert for all aspects of products and will be highly visible with regard to new product development while executing on the product lifecycle.

How you will do it

  • Management of assigned Trion/Envirco products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct market/competitive analysis and reporting for strategic guidance.
  • Develop business cases for the development of new products, including recommending product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the lowest cost products, and attain the highest possible margins and long-term market share.
  • Official communicator to industry, regulatory, sales and customer groups.
  • Management of product technical literature and data with understanding of the sources and applications for the information, and associated industry and regulatory standards.
  • Management of product selection software/configurations.
  • Preparation of templates, reports or other documentation for certifying or regulatory bodies.
  • Present product offering and strategy to internal and external groups.
  • Represent the Company, and present at customer or industry conventions and trade shows.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years in HVAC industry within Product Management or related field (Engineering, Program Management, Technical Support, Technical Marketing/Sales, etc.).
  • Software experience and competency should include Microsoft applications, such as, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Sugar CRM and/or Mapics ERP system is a plus.
  • Strong communicator with good judgement and decision-making skills to lead multi-functional new product programs to market.
  • Customer-focused and positive approach to creative solutions.
  • Financial acumen to support business case development.
  • Proficiency in managing multi-task projects.
  • Ability to travel by plane, car, or train 15- 25% depending on need to support industry and customer events.
