Akkodis is seeking a Product Safety Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Lake Forest, IL . The ideal candidate must have expertise in quality systems and analytical tools. Responsibilities include maintaining quality systems and developing solutions to complex problems while managing multiple priorities. Rate Range: $42/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Product Safety Specialist job responsibilities include:
- Assessing product safety risks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conducting safety testing and evaluations for new and existing products.
- Collaborating with product development teams to address safety concerns.
- Maintaining safety documentation and ensuring accurate reporting of safety data.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product safety or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Experience with safety testing and risk assessment.
