Position Summary

Provides leadership and operational support to the business development team to achieve customer service, market share, and profit objectives. The position is responsible for all activities related to customer RFQs, cost estimating, and pricing for OEM aerospace products.

An ideal candidate for this position will be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and shift priorities as needed to support business needs and critical deadlines. They will be able to communicate effectively to a diverse audience within all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing. Possess the skill set to cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Responsibilities

Product Portfolio:

• Oversee the preparation of cost estimates and proposals for current business
• Manage follow-up communication and complete data analysis on late offers and lost business
• Maintain customer relationships through open and interactive communication
• Identify and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly
• Communicate monthly status of Requests for Quotes measuring OTTQ performance

Business Development:

• Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for new product development
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide product engineering, development, management, and sales solutions

• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to support strategic initiatives

• Create Monthly/Quarterly Reports reviewing the state of the business

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in a related field OR,
• Associate degree in a related field plus two years of experience OR,
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of related experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree

• Experience in technical manufacturing/aerospace environment
• Certifications/credentials/training i.e. Agile, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt

• Experience/ability i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems, Data Analytics
