Product Support Team - Aftermarket
Bring your experience and ideas and help Bell's customers by providing technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues, providing product training and guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll work with the product development team to identify and address product issues, as well as provide feedback for product improvement. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers both internal and external. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities and problem-solving skills, all while gaining experience in manufacturing/engineering technology.
What you'll be doing as a Product Support Specialist
* Provide technical support for all company commercial products which meet customer requirement while assuring continuity between models.
* Provide assistance in troubleshooting, repair, and modification of fielded products.
* Create continued airworthiness instructions and notifications (Service Directives) for operation and maintenance of supported company products.
* Analyze product operation and maintenance data to identify and document cost and safety related issues requiring corrective actions.
* Act as the voice of the customer on technical issues within Bell.
* Assist in creation of technically justifiable product maintenance requirements which ensure all safety of flight issues can be detected prior to functional failures.
* Assist manager in the development of standardized product support policies and procedures.
* Interface with the PSE Product Leads to provide guidance and assure compliance with standardized product support policies and procedures.
* Support the Safety Board as required.
* Ensure the professional and personal conduct of all personnel is of the highest ethical standards, is compliant with all Textron and government rules and regulations and supports all Bell Flight and Textron goals and objectives.
Skills You Bring To this Role
* 10 years of field experience in helicopter operations or equivalent.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook
* CATIA V5/V6 experience.
* A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) license or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license.
* Field experience required.
* Working knowledge of domestic and/or international governing aviation agencies.
