The Production Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting diverse manufacturing processes. We seek a proactive and self-motivated individual to undertake a broad spectrum of administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and methodical precision in assisting manufacturing support teams. This role requires ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures and maintaining complete and error-free documentation. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
  • HR Administration duties encompass payroll, attendance tracking, filing, auditing, pulling reports, and hourly employee orientation.
  • Organize training sessions for new hires, temps, and employee annual safety training.
  • Communicate with HR regarding human resource issues and updates.
  • Order packaging / miscellaneous supplies and maintain Kanban's.
  • Prepare and revise daily or monthly reports, including employee attendance points, purchasing summaries, and month-end hours worked.
  • Receive vendor PO's invoices.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between production teams, the Union, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support management with schedules, postings, and purchase requests as needed.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet production standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and file all production-related audits and production-related paperwork.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 2yr experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • One to two years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Meticulous in managing documentation and reviewing audits.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant standards.
  • Familiarity with production management software and tools.
  • A willingness to support continuous improvements throughout the facility.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication to support various functions and departments.
