Job Description :
Job Overview: Performs simple assembly operations in flexible work cell to produce light fixtures, plugs & receptacles, pin & sleeve and other lighting products per production work orders. Check all kitted parts prior to assembly for needed quantity and quality. Follow routing specified on production order for work sequences. Utilizes equipment such as power drills, power screwdrivers, arbor press, riveting machine, etc. to effectively assemble product. Conducts final inspection of assembled products prior to packaging.Shift and Pay: 1st shift (24.95 per hour)Key Responsibilities:Follows safety policies and proceduresPlaces parts in specified relationship to each otherBolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts togetherTends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly lineWorks at different cells as product needs requireWorks in cell where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along lineQualifications:Excellent attendance recordHigh School (preferred but not necessary) or GED1 Year experience preferredAbout Hubbell Incorporated: Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
