You will perform assembly and production tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.Responsibilities:Work with a team to assemble entire products or componentsRotate through tasks for specific production processesConduct quality inspections on products and partsPrepare finished products for shipmentMaintain a clean and orderly work areaStrip wire insulationRead and interprets aids, manufacturing documents, and wiring diagramsVerify Bill of MaterialsComponent part preparationSoldering fine wireSolder touch-upBuild/work on cables and harnessesBuild boards and chassis frames.Interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagramsSupport quality and production objectivesOperate over-molding machineWork under a microscopeQualifications:Six months experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields but will train a motivated candidate.Ability to perform hand soldering and rework on fine wire often under a microscopeFamiliarity with assembly tools and equipmentAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to work well in teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentHand/Eye coordination to work under microscopeAbility to see/read serial numbers and codes on small electronic components.Ability to follow instructionsDesire to learn new tasks and skillsPolhemus is looking for a person that is motivated and willing to learn.
