Job Description
- Pick and stage material for production orders, based on schedule.
- Assemble industrial control valves based on Standard Operating Procedures.
- Test valves in accordance with their specific test procedures.
- React to equipment down, test failures, and production issues using Andon and according to department standards and Bosch production system principles.
- Complete any reporting for OEE, quality, or production deviations.
- Replenish working inventory from stock as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on test stands.
- Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities within area.
- Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas including Machining, Assembly, Test and/or QMM.
- Cross-train on other functions within the team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area as per 5S philosophy.
- Overtime may be required; sometimes with little advance notice.
- Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
The wage rate for this position is $21.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential for hours worked on second shift. Shift hours are 3-11:30pm Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex. PA Department of Education, FL Department of Education, US Military).
- Minimum of one year relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and parts lists.
- High mechanical aptitude to use and operate hand and air tools and overhead crane.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
