Production Assistant (Part-Time) - Sinclair Broadcast Group : Job Details

KTXS has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant! Candidates will be responsible for preparing newscasts behind the scenes before and during the live broadcast of our evening newscasts at 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate Audio, Camera, Teleprompter and CG Graphics for our Morning Newscast
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Studio and set preparation
• Preparation in Production Booth
• Maintaining studio
• Lighting
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided
• General Hours: Average 20 hours per week; Sunday – Saturday
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Other hours as needed, on occasion
