Our client, a leading industrial company, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Production AssociateLocation: Oak Ridge, TNPay Range: 15-19Schedule: Day shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm M-FNight shift: 1:00pm to 11:30pm M-ThursWhat's the Job?
  • Read and understand Department Work Instructions
  • Read a standard ruler and calipers to measure the size of labels and width of label liner
  • Use calculator to verify total quantity calculation (conversions from feet to inches, basic multiplication and division of total, box, and roll quantities)
  • Inspect product for print and quality defects
  • Remove unacceptable product from press rolls or packs
  • Enter time in computer to log in and out of job/work order.
  • This role involves standing, bending and crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Workspace is climate controlled. Close-toed shoes required, PPE available where required.
What's Needed?
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Must be available for up to 5 hours OT weekly as required (more available with management approval)
