Production Associate

We are seeking a production associate to join our team. This role will be part of our production department and will report to our shift supervisor. Dont miss this opportunity to join an amazing culture and elevate your career while making a difference in the industry at Palmer-Donavin.

Shift

Sunday - Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (overtime as business requires).

Responsibilities:
  • Reading work orders to determine the production specs of each door
  • Identifying, locating, and pulling the correct door slab and other components
  • Modifying the door slab as necessary to meet specifications
  • Using routers, saws, jigs, aluminum brakes, pneumatic nailers, pneumatic sanders, electric and pneumatic drills and drivers to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum and wood products
  • Physically moving the door from one production station to another (Up to 75 lbs)
  • Inspecting work to identify defects, production errors, and quality issues
  • Cleaning the shop and doing light maintenance work
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing/distribution or operations oriented environment, though we are willing to train a candidate with no experience if they demonstrate our company's core values.
