Production Associate (Night Shift) - Novelis : Job Details

Responsibilities Include:Is knowledgeable and follows plant safety rules and departmental safety practices. Manufacturing support services for the cold mill, annealing, tension line, strand line work centers, as well as the lab. Provides assistance and break relief. Packs/wraps coils. Expedites scrap handling in the work centers. Expedites core preparation and handling in the work centers. Provides assistance in lab. Maintains housekeeping. Must train and qualify in the following areas:Material Handling at Mill. Entry/ Exit - Strand and Tension Lines. Scrap. Pack Line. Required Qualifications:Must be a leader in safety. Is a safe worker who demonstrates concern for personal safety and safety of others. Must demonstrate a willingness to participate in plant safety initiatives. A high school level education is required. Post high school education preferred. Must be able to work as part of a team and be capable of self-direction.
