Production Chemist I

Location: Irvine, CA (on-site)

12 - Month Assignment

Pay: $26-31/hour

You'll manage production data, ensure compliance with GDP/GMP standards, and follow detailed procedures. Responsibilities:

• Formulate products and intermediates of low to medium complexity according to approved procedures.
• Manage production data entry and inventory control using the ERP database.
• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards by completing production documentation and maintaining quality records.
• Prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet strict deadlines.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and adjust as necessary to achieve required yields.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a general manufacturing environment, preferably in biological or life sciences.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials.
• Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials, and equipment.
