The primary goal of this position is to support production supervisors in managing the hourly employees. This includes filling of overtime and following union contract rules, tracking hourly employee information, vacation, back filling of jobs and staffing for training. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee hourly union overtime scheduling and tracking of historical hours.
- Perform data entry for operations and report production information.
- Monitor timesheets in UKG Ready software for attendance and time off tracking.
- Maintain and re-order plant production and safety forms.
- Pick up misc. tools and parts to support production.
- Assist with community outreach projects.
- Assist and direct 5S projects and also help with union job movement.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years' experience in plant operations.
- Experience in manufacturing required.
- Experience working with UKG Ready (Kronos) and Microsoft office products.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must be a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience working with trades in a maintenance or repair environment preferably in a union environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS office software required; familiarity with ERP software – J.D. Edwards preferably.
- Knowledge of supplies and equipment and their usage.
- Must possess computer skills.
