Job Description :

The Production Control Supervisor oversees the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves working closely with various departments to optimize workflow, manage resources, and maintain production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet production targets.
  • Track production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor production control staff, providing training and support to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting performance metrics, productivity levels, and areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5 years of experience in production control or manufacturing operations; with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a Full-Time Salary/Hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
