With the support of Skylight, management intends to double the company's size over the next five (5) years.POSITION OVERVIEW:Guardian is rapidly expanding and needs a highly motivated self-starter to join our Production Team. The Production Coordinator would be responsible for scheduling projects and seeing each project through its life cycle, as well as being point of contact with each customer through all stages of the project. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, an exceptional multitasker, have excellent verbal and communication skills, exercise good decision making and will thrive in a team environment. You will also be be responsible for purchase orders and being hands on with technicians and detailing project descriptionsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and schedule Reroof, Gutter, or Repair and Maintenance projects with tentative week of scheduleDistribute production schedules or work orders to departments.Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.Be the point of contact for all customers and their questions/concerns associated with the projects you are managing Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes. RequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTSHighly organized and possess the ability to multitask.Experience with problem resolution.Competent, outgoing, and possess the ability to talk to clients with confidence and ease.Flexible and have the ability to adapt in an often rapidly changing office environment.A good understanding of construction principles, methods and techniques.A willingness to put yourself out there and offer help even if you're not asked to.An ability to think and act fast in an office that can go from calm to crazy in seconds.Team player with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for a collaborative team environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.Dependable and able to show up to work on-time.A valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.A great sense of humor and ability to make us laugh is a big plus!Self-motivated, honest, and friendly.
