WHAT YOU'LL DO: Your top priority will be to ensure that quality of work meets the clients needs and that the project comes in at or under budget. You develop innovative, cost-effective means to improve production, are the single point of contact for communication and logistics for the customer, and make sure that that the manufacturing team are meeting the deliverables of the project.

Process Coordination & Data Analysis

  • Research potential vendors and negotiate best prices.
  • Assist in bidding process.
  • Review blueprint drawings
  • Collaborate with management to plan forecasting models.

People Management

  • Lead the day-to-day workload of the Inventory team.
  • Coach and mentor in alignment with company goals
  • Lead change management
  • Own and drive professional development.

Inventory management

  • Work with management to determine supply needs.
  • Build Lean processes.
  • Record and assess quality, movement, and expenditure of all materials.
  • Manage inventory levels and the distribution of supplies.
  • Communicate with local vendors.

Safety management

  • Ensure shop safety and safe working conditions are always being met.
  • Assist in the development of Job Hazard Analysis
  • Conduct flex & stretch meetings
  • Maintain certification in operating cranes and forklifts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Associate Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
  • 3-5 years if related work experience
  • Familiarity with reading architectural drawings.
